Will be more than enough. Besides I'm sure there will be plenty of AI filling the enviroments, just like in GTA4 online--you can play a deathmatch, but that doesn't mean the city has to be empty and void of life. Theres still people walking around, and driving cars too.

it doesnt mean the ps3 version doesn't matter. its the same game.
but more people flocked to XBL. And more players = more stress on the servers.
its been like this with a lot of popular XBL games. MS doesn't anticipate how well a really fun game will do on XBL. :) they need to have more faith in their consumers, and prepare for sh*t like this.
